We traveled up to Chadron State Park, supposedly it is one of the states best kept secrets. There seems to be lots of them here. We are planning on going next summer to rent a cabin and stay a few day. They have lots of things to keep a family busy for a while. It was a beautiful day, not too hot and the boys had fun riding their bikes down the hills, Russell and I had fun riding in the truck down the hills. At least everyone had fun however they got down the hill.
We rented a paddle boat for the boys, they enjoyed that.
I think they enjoyed messing up the fishers on the other side by making lots of waves. I guess its an equal opportunity pond!
And you can't forget about the nap Russell had in the shaded grass, he must have been really tired.....or something.
In Alliance, Nebraska the boys wanted to see the Carhenge. I'm not too sure it would be worth going to see if you weren't going by anyway. We stopped at Dairy Queen for blizzards before heading home.
